CORRECTING SCRIVENER'S ERROR IN RESOLUTION #2022-338 APPROVING
TEMPORARY PUBLIC STREET CLOSINGS FOR THE WAUKEE AREA
HISTORICAL SOCIETY WAUKTOBERFEST EVENT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, on August 15, 2022, the Waukee City Council approved a resolution approving
temporary closing of Walnut Street from 5`h Street west to 6 h Street beginning Friday, October 8,
2022, at 9:00 a.m. and ending Saturday, October 9, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. for the Waukee Area
Historical Society Wauktoberfest event (Resolution #2022-338); AND,
WHEREAS, it has since been discovered that the days of the week noted in the approved
temporary street closing are incorrect;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
22"d day of August, 2022, that it hereby approves the correction of a scrivener's error in
Resolution #2022-338 so that the corrected temporary street closing shall be for Walnut Street
from P Street west to 0h Street beginning Saturday, October 8, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. and ending
Sunday, October 9, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. for the Waukee Area Historical Society Wauktoberfest
event.
