(H) Public Hearings:
1) On an ordinance to amend Chapter 169, Zoning Ordinance, City of Waukee, Iowa, by
rezoning certain property from A-1 to R-2, R-2/PD-1, R-3, R-4 and C-1, a property to be
known as Remington Pointe — Mayor Clarke opened the public hearing and asked if any
written correspondence had been received; City Clerk Schuett replied that none had been
received in the clerk's office. Community Development Director Kass reviewed the
application for approximately 76.5 acres. The applicant received consent from property
owners of approximately 50% of the surrounding property. Mr. Kass reviewed the separate
proposed zoning districts, noting that the planned development overlay would allow 23
smaller lots in exchange for certain landscaping and architectural requirements. He
discussed street extensions, including improvements to University Ave. The application is
consistent with the City's Comprehensive Development Plan. Erin 011endike with Civil
Design Advantage (CDA), addressed the council on behalf of the applicant in the event of
questions. No comments were made by the public in attendance.

comments were made by the public in attendance.
3) On plans, specifications, form of contract and estimate of cost [Kettlestone Area
