RESOLUTION 2022-480
APPROVING AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES
WITH WATERS EDGE AQUATIC DESIGN [AQUATIC CENTER NEEDS
ASSESSMENT STUDY]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, one of the Waukee City Council's top priorities in the City of Waukee FY2021-
2022 Strategic Plan is an aquatic facility needs assessment, best practices, feasibility report with
options, direction and funding (Resolution #2022-300); AND,
WHEREAS, as the first step toward this priority, the City desires to retain the consultant
services of Waters Edge Aquatic Design to conduct an Aquatic Center Needs Assessment Study;
AND,
WHEREAS, the study is intended to identify the recommended size and character of a potential
new outdoor swimming pool.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
Agreement for Professional Consulting Services with Waters Edge Aquatic Design [Aquatic
Center Needs Assessment Study] is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved the 20 day of
November, 2022.
