RESOLUTION 2022-524
APPOINTING AND APPROVING FOR TEMPORARY ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION TO
THE INTERIM POLICE CHIEF
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, Mayor Courtney Clarke appoints Waukee Police Lieutenant Scott Cunningham as
Interim Police Chief, in addition to his regular duties; AND,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to provide additional compensation related to the
employee's performance of the additional duties on a temporary basis, from December 31, 2022 —
January 15, 2023; AND,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council that Lieutenant
Cunningham be temporarily compensated, in addition to the salary established for his duties as
Lieutenant, $473.86/bi-weekly, for the period commencing December 31, 2022, through January 15,
2023.
Approved and adopted this 5th day of December 2022.
