RESOLUTION 2023-116
APPROVAL OF A COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT
WITH TEAMSTERS, LOCAL 238
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the City and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 238 have engaged
in negotiations in order to reach a new collective bargaining agreement, effective July 1, 2023,
which sets forth all of the terms, conditions and obligations of the parties; AND,
WHEREAS, the agreement, including wage scales, had been lawfully and properly ratified by
the membership of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local #238; AND,
WHEREAS, the City Council has fully examined said agreement and has found the same to be
in the best interest of the City of Waukee and the union represented employees.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa on
this 20th day of March 2023 that the collective bargaining agreement with the International
Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 238, effective July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2026, is hereby
approved.
