RESOLUTION 2023-118
RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT FOR CITY OF WAUKEE APPLICATION FOR IOWA
LEAGUE OF CITIES ALL-STAR COMMUNITY AWARD
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee is a member of the Iowa League of Cities, an organization that
provides advocacy, training and guidance for Iowa's communities; AND,
WHEREAS, the Iowa League of Cities is soliciting applications for their annual All -Star
Community Awards, a program that acknowledges excellence in local government; AND,
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee intends to submit an application for the Triumph Park Project
as an exemplary "quality of life" community amenity made possible through visionary
leadership, thorough planning and strong partnerships.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Waukee City Council on this 27 h day of March,
2023, that it hereby supports an application for the Iowa League of Cities All -Star Community
Award for the Triumph Park Project.
