RESOLUTION 2023-127
APPROVING AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES WITH
VEENSTRA & KIMM, INC. [BLUESTEM TRUNK SEWER PHASE 2]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the City desires to retain the consultant services of Veenstra & Kimm, Inc. for the
Bluestem Trunk Sewer Project; AND,
WHEREAS, the scope of services includes detailed work, services, materials, equipment and
supplies necessary for the installation of approximately 2,450 LF of 12-inch diameter sanitary sewer east
along SE Ashworth Road from the Timberline Campground entrance to a tributary of Sugar Creek east
SE LA Grant Parkway and approximately 700 LF of 8-inch diameter sanitary sewer north to existing Lift
Station No. 14 and the demolition of Lift Station No. 14; AND,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
Agreement for Professional Consulting Services between Veenstra & Kimm, Inc. and the City of
Waukee, Iowa [Bluestem Trunk Sewer Phase 2] is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approve day of April,
2023.
