WORK SESSION MEETING
May 18, 2023
The work session meeting of the Waukee City Council was called to order by Mayor Clarke at 8:10
a.m. at Waukee City Hall, 230 W. Hickman Rd.
The following members were present: Mayor Courtney Clarke; Council Members R. Charles
Bottenberg, Chris Crone, Larry R. Lyon, Ben Sinclair. Absent: Council Member Anna Bergman
Pierce.
Also in attendance: City Administrator Brad Deets, Assistant City Administrator Nick Osborne, Lyle
Sumek with Lyle Sumek Associates, Inc.
Work Session: Goal setting and strategic planning for FY2024, first session — Mr. Sumek lead
the council through a review of the FY2023 performance report and the status of the current fiscal
year strategic plan and goals.
Meeting Adjourned at 3:00 p.m.
