RESOLUTION 2023-243
APPROVING AMENDMENT TO COMMUNITY ATTRACTION AND TOURISM
(CAT) GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE VISION IOWA BOARD AND THE
CITY OF WAUKEE [ALL-INCLUSIVE AREA AT TRIUMPH PARK]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, on February 7, 2022, the Waukee City Council approved a Community Attraction
and Tourism (CAT) Grant Agreement with the Vision Iowa Board in the amount of $200,000.00
for the Triumph Park all-inclusive area (Resolution #2022-045); AND,
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee requests an amendment to the CAT Grant Agreement to extend
the deadline on the first reimbursement from twelve (12) to eighteen (18) months;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
5"' day of June, 2023, that it hereby authorizes Amendment to Community Attraction and
Tourism (CAT) Grant Agreement between the Vision Iowa Board and the City of Waukee [All -
Inclusive Area at Triumph Park].
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Mayor Courtney Clarke is hereby authorized to execute
the Agreement Amendment and such other documents that are required Vision Iowa
Board.
