RESOLUTION 2023-246
APPROVING JOB DESCRIPTION AND PAY GRADE
[POLICE CAPTAIN]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the City Administrator, Chief of Police and Human Resources Director propose the
creation of a Police Captain job description; AND,
WHEREAS, the pay grade for the position shall be N38; AND,
WHEREAS, the City Administrator, Chief of Police and Human Resource Director recommend
establishing the job description and approving the job description and pay grade.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa on
this 5t' day of June 2023 that it hereby approves the job description and rade for Police
Captain.
