RESOLUTION 2023-306
SETTING FORTH CHECK AUTHORIZATION PROCEDURES AND AUTHORIZED
SIGNATORIES FOR THE CITY ACCOUNTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH GENERALLY
ACCEPTED ACCOUNTING STANDARDS
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS, Denman & Company, LLP, with which the City contracts for auditing services,
advises that generally accepted accounting standards dictate that the City assure appropriate
checks and balances are in place and that it is appropriate to name the City Administrator, City
Clerk, Finance Director and Accounting Manager as the authorized signatories;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
I Oth day of July, 2023, that City Administrator Bradly M. Deets be authorized to execute checks
on behalf of the City of Waukee, with City Clerk Rebecca D. Schuett, jointly, and that Finance
Director Linda Burkhart and Accounting Manager Rachel Bruns shall be alternate signatories,
effective immediately.
