RESOLUTION 2023-330
APPROVING IOWA ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (IEDA) IOWA
DOWNTOWN RESOURCE CENTER COMMUNITY CATALYST & REMEDIATION
GRANT PROGRAM AGREEMENT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, on January 16, 2023, the Waukee City Council approved a resolution authorizing the
submittal of an Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) Community Catalyst Building
Remediation Program Grant pre -application (Resolution #2023-022); AND,
WHEREAS, on April 3, 2023, the Waukee City Council approved a resolution authorizing the
submittal of a grant application to the IEDA Community Catalyst Grant Program (Resolution
#2023-133); AND,
WHEREAS, IEDA has determined that proposed project is eligible for a Community Catalyst
Building Remediation Grant and approved the application; AND;
WHEREAS, IEDA has provided an Iowa Downtown Resource Center Community Catalyst &
Remediation Grant Program Agreement that sets forth the terms and conditions of the program.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council that it hereby
approves the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) Iowa Downtown Resource Center
Community Catalyst & Remediation Grant Program Agreement.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved the 70' day of August, 2023.
