RESOLUTION 2023-385
APPROVING AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES WITH
VEENSTRA & KIMM, INC. [LIFT STATIONS NO.4 AND 6 REHABILITATION
PROJECT]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the City desires to retain the consultant services of Veenstra & Kimm, Inc. for the
Lift Stations No. 4 and 6 Rehabilitation Project; AND,
WHEREAS, the scope of services includes rehabilitation of Lift Station No 4 located west of NW
142°d Street and north of SE Timberline Drive and Lift Station No. 6 located north of Hickman Road and
east of Alice's Road; AND,
WHEREAS, rehabilitation includes retrofitting existing control buildings at the lift stations,
replacement of wet well piping and valves, installation of a bypass pumping system at Lift
Station No. 4, painting of exposed piping, and replacement of trash basket rails; AND,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
Agreement for Professional Consulting Services between Veenstra & Kimm, Inc. and the City of
Waukee, Iowa [Lift Station No. 4 and 7 Rehabilitation Project] is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved the 5a' day of September,
2023.
