RESOLUTION 2023-386
APPROVING AMENDMENT NO.2 TO AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL
CONSULTING SERVICES WITH VEENSTRA & KIMM, INC
[LITTLE WALNUT CREEK HEADWATERS PROJECT]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS, the original agreement indicated the compensation amounts for design,
construction services, and staking were to be determined; AND,
WHEREAS, this amendment presents scope of services, schedule, fees and conditions for final
design, construction services, construction staking, and a Phase 1 cultural resources survey;
AND,
WHEREAS, the original agreement included a fee of $2,500 for the preparation of a grant
application and the first amendment included fees of $16,000 for environmental design, project
planning, a wetland investigation, and protected species review; AND,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
5'h day of September, 2023, that it hereby approves Amendment No. 2 to the Agreement for
Professional Consulting Services with Veenstra & Kimm, Inc. [Little Walnut Creek Headwaters
Project] and amending the contract fee to $208,395.00.
