The Town Council of the Town of Waukee met in regular
monthly meeting at the ~own Hall on this date with the following
members answering to roll call;-
Sandmier-Carter and MC Mahon.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Davis at 8:27 P.M.
Carter moved t.hat the MeFor appoint O.D.Ellsworth as Town I
Clerk during the absence of S.M.Nissly.McMahon seconded.Carrie~.
'I'he minute-s of the meeting of Iv1ay4th,1931 were read.
Sandmier moved that the minutes of kay 4th,1931 be approved
as read.McMahon seconded.Carried.

The applications of W.F .Kerrt,R.E .l,iorrilland J'.C .Rousseau
for licenses to sell cigarettes during the year starting July l~
1931 with each individual's check attached were presented to the
Council by the Town Clerk.
Carter moved that cigarette licenses bw granted and issued
to W.p.Kent,R.E.!:'lorrilland J'.C.l"i.ousseauas applied for above.
SandIDier seconded.Carried.
i,iayorDavis appointed Deane Chapman and iVlrsrr e d S.Whiting
to succeed themselves on the Board of the the Public Library,
their term of office having expired June 1st 1931.Appointments
at this time being for thrre years.
At 9:05 P.M.Carter moved to adjourn.McMahon seconded.Carried.
