RESOLUTION 2023-428
APPROVING QUOTE FROM LOCUTION SYSTEMS, INC. [WAUKEE PUBLIC
SAFETY FACILITY, STATION ALERTING SYSTEM]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the Waukee Public Safety Facility (815 NW 201h Street) includes plans for a station
alerting system with audio and visual components to alert personnel to emergencies; AND,
WHEREAS, the Waukee Fire Department recommend purchasing the system from Locution
Systems, Inc.; AND,
WHEREAS, the cost of the system and installation is part of the overall project budget;
however, approving the quote at this time locks in the pricing and prevents price increases
between now and when the building is constructed.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa on
this 2nd day of October, 2023, that it hereby approves quote from Locution Systems, Inc.
