RESOLUTION 2023-480
APPROVAL OF CITY CELL PHONE POLICY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized Municipal
Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee desires to adopt a City Cell Phone Policy; AND,
WHEREAS, to date, the City has not had a formal Cell Phone Policy to provide information and set
standards for the use of both City issued and personal cell phones in the workplace; AND,
WHEREAS, by providing standardized policies and procedures, consistent and clear rules for the
issuance and/or use of cell phones will be established and the City will increase both efficiency and
effectiveness in our daily communication; AND,
WHEREAS, the City Cell Phone Policy will be effective immediately.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 6"' day
of November, 2023, that the City Cell Phone Policy is hereby app
