Regular meeting of the town Council of Waukee Iowa ••
Meeting called to 9rder by Mayor Davis.
The following councilman answered the rmll call,Loose,Cook,
Knoll,and Howe,~bsent McMahan.

Moved by Loose ,seconded by Howe that the council allow R.C.Rowe
a bill of $5.00 for groceries at Hu~witz store,Motion Carried.
Mr Gerhart met with the Council in regard tb water works,
Afte~much disscussion it was moved by Loose and seconded by Cook
that the clerk draft a petition to be signed by the property owners
of Waukee to have the Council call an election to see if the voters
of Waukee want a water works,at a cost not to exceed $23.000.00
Motion carried.
The following levies were tentatively made in the different funds
for .the year 1934.

The budget estimate was orderd printed in the Dallas County News
and date of hearing was set for the first monday night in August
at 8.P.M.
