AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 68, PARKING REGULATIONS, CITY OF
WAUKEE, IOWA, BY AMENDING SECTION 68.09, NO PARKING ZONES, AS
SPECIFIED BELOW
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee has determined that certain public streets should be added
to the no parking zones ordinance.
BE IT THEREFORE ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waukee:
Section 1. Chapter 68, Waukee Municipal Code, Traffic Regulations, Section 68.09 is hereby
amended by modifying the following streets as follows:
§68.09 (1) Both Sides of North -South Streets. No parking is permitted at any time on
either side of the following streets:
Add the following sheet names to the 68.09 (1) section.-
0 SE LA Grant Parkway
§68.09 (2) East Side of North -South Streets. No parking is permitted at any time on
the east side of the following north -south streets:
Add 1hetollowing sheet names to the 68.09 (2) section.-
* 11 °i Street
• NW Parkside Lane
• Lilac Street
• NW Sproul Dr
§68.09 (3) West Side of North -South Streets. No parking is permitted at any time on
the west side of the following north -south streets:
Add the following sheet names 10 1he 68.09 (3) section:
• Kaylin Drive from its intersection with Northview Drive to a point 185 feet
north
§68.09 (4) Both Sides of East-West Streets. No parking is permitted at any time on
either side of the following east -west streets:
Modifications:
• Z. Ashworth Road
• F. Northview Drive from its intersection with 6°i Street to a point 250 feet east
• G. Northview Drive from 6°i Street to 8°' Street (8°' Street south of Northview
Drive)
Add the followiniz street names to the 68.09 (4) section:
• SE Ashworth Road
§68.09 (5) North Side of East-West Streets. No parking is permitted at any time,
except as otherwise noted, on the north side of the following streets:
Modifications:
• HH. Northview Drive from 9`h Street to 201 Street
Add the followinzLstreet names to the 68.09 Q section:
• NW Petersen Drive
• NW Hillside Blvd
• NW Crabtree Lane
• SE Limestone Lane
§68.09 (6) South Side of East-West Streets. No parking is permitted on the south side
of the following east -west streets:
Modifications:
• MM. Northview Drive from 61 Street to S Warrior Lane
Add the followini; street names to the 68.09 (6) section:
• Northview Drive from 8'h Street (81h Street south of Northview Drive) to 9t'
Street
• SE Red Fern Drive
Section 2. Repealer. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of
this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. Severability Clause. If any section, provision or part of this ordinance shall be
adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance
as a whole or any section, provision, or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.
Section 4. Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in effect upon its final passage, approval
and publication as provided by law.
