HomeMy WebLinkAbout2024-03-04 Ordinance 3104_Petty Cash, Sugar Creek Municipal Golf Course Change FundsORDINANCE NO.3104 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 7, FISCAL MANAGEMENT, BY AMENDING SECTION 7.02(4)(E), CASH CONTROL, CHANGE FUNDS, SUGAR CREEK MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE WHEREAS, the City of Waukee has determined that additional change funds are necessary for the proper operation of Sugar Creek Municipal Golf Course; BE IT THEREFORE ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Waukee: Section 1: Chapter 7, Fiscal Management, Section 7.02(4)(E), Cash Control, Change Funds, Sugar Creek Municipal Golf Course, is hereby amended as follows: E. Sugar Creek Municipal Golf Course. The finance officer is authorized to draw a check on the Golf Course Fund for establishing a change fund in the amount of $1,000.00 for the purpose of making change without commingling other funds to meet the requirements of said office. Said change fund shall be in the custody of the Sugar Creek Municipal Golf Course club house staff, and the department director shall maintain the integrity of the fund. Section 2. Repealer. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 3. Severability Clause. If any section, provision or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any section, provisions or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional. Section 4. Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in effect from and after its final passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
