Special meeting of the Town Council of Waukee,Iowa.
The Mayor and all councilmen present except S.M.Ooo k ,
Meeting was called for the purpose of letting contract for digsingtestholeforwater..
Moved by McMahon,seconded by Knoll that action on well be deferred
for furtLer investigation.
On roll call of the members present they voted as follows;
McMahon -Yes.

Knoll -Yes.Loose -No.Howe -No ,ReSUlting:in,-Mayor then voted no on the motion which defeated
Moved by Looee and seconded by Howe that the Town Council contract
with Frank Gibson to drill a test well on the Dallam pvvperty as
per bid of 75i per foot,not to exceed 150 feet in depth.
The Mayor then called for a roll call vote on the question whichresultedasfollows;
McMahon -No.
in a tie vote.the motion.
Knoll -No.Loose -Yes.Howe -Yes,which resulted
The Mayor then voted yes on the question which carried
Moved by Loose,seconded by McMahon that the Clerk draw up two con-
tracts,one for drilling the test hole and one with Howard Dal1am
for use of the gV'Qund and to enter into and complete these contracts
with the parties named~Above contracts to be signed by the con-
tractors,Maw-or and Clerk on behalf of the Town of WaUkee,Iowa.Motion carried unanimously.
Moved bs Loose,seconded by Howe that meeting adjourn.Motion carried.
