August 24,1936.
Special Meeting of the Town Council of Waukee,Iowa.
Meeting held at the Waukee Office of the Brenton State Bank.
Meeting called to order by Mayor Davis.The following council-
men answered the roll call;Loose,Knoll,Kallenbach,Howe and
Young.
Meeting called for the .purpose of locating a test well for
water works.
The Clerk was insttncted to write County Attorney and receive
his opinion in regard to spending the money for drilling a
test well.
Mavor Davis appointed Fred Knoll and W.W.Loose to find a
location.
Dan Craig of Des Moines and Mr.Burns an Engineer were present
and gave some information in regard to use of WPA and PWA
funds.
Moved by Loose and seconded by Kallenbach that meeting adjourn.
Motion carried.

J.A.Snyder and Chas.Morris met with the Council.
J.A.Snyder offered the Presbyterian Church lots for location
of'the well for ~1250.00 with an option of drilling a test well
for nothing and if not used there would be no charge.
Mr.Gibson,well driller from Adel offered to put down a 600
foot hole,the first 500 feet to be four inch and the last 100
feet to be three and one-fourth,at ~1.15 per foot.
I Moved by Loose,secondeo by Howe that meeting adjourn.
Motion carried.
