August 29,1936.
Special meeting of the Twwn Council of Waukee,Iowa.
Meeting held at the Waukee Office of the Brenton State Bank.
Councilmen present were Young,Loose,Howe and Knoll.
Moved by Loose and seconded by Howe that Young be elected
Mayor Pro Tem for this meeting.
Meeting opened by Mayor Young ProTem.I
Moved by Loose,seconded by Howe that the XEx Council
select the Presbyterian Church lots as location for the test
well.
Motion carried.
Moved by Loose and seconded by Howe that $2000.00 by transferred
from the light fund to the general fund and the Clerk by
instructed to draw up the necessary resolution and make it a
matter of record and submit the same to the budget director
for approval.
Moved by Loose that meeting adjourn,seconded by Knoll.
Motion carried.

Councilmen present Young,Knoll,Loose,Kallenbach and Howe.
Also Mayor Davis.
Attorney Robert Frush met with the Council.
Moved by Loose and seconded by Young that the minutes of the
meeting of August 29th and all action taken at that time be
approved at this meeting.Motion carried.
Councilmen Young offered the follOWing resolution.
Be it Resolved that the Tovm Council enter into a contract
wi th Frank Gibson to drill a well,the depth of which to be
determined later,for the purpose of determining whether
sufficient water of good quality and quantity can be found
for the use of the Town.
Moved by Young,seconded by Loose that the above resolution
be adopted.I
Moved by Loose,seconded by Young that meeting adjourn.
Motion carrieo.
