Meeting was called by COUl1cilman,Loose,Knoll,and Kallellback.,
Meeting was held in y~e Brenton State Bank,
Meeting was called for the purporse of eleoting a Mayor
to ~ill the uuexpired term of Mayor Davis DeCeased.

Dr Young was deolared to be aoting Mayor during the meeting'.
Meeting wail-"aIled to order oy Qoting Mayor Young-and on
roll call of the Council the following members were present
and answered the roll call,Loose,lJIoll,Howe and Kallenback.
Acting Mayor Young then ealled for no~inations for ~ayor
fo~the unexpired term of G.E.Davis.

Kallenbach that nominations cease.
The council then voted on the nomination ,of F.B.YOUl1g
and the vote was as follows,
Howe,YOUIlg
Kallenblil,ek,Young,
Knoll,Y oung ,
Loose,Young.
Acting-~~yor Young then declared F.B.Young elected to fill
the unexpired term of G.E.Davis.
Dr F.B.X@UIlg then offered his resignation as councilman,
iloved by Loose and seeonded by Kallenbaek the the resigm.\tion
of F.B.YOUIlg as eOUIleilmallbe acoepted.Motion oarried.F.B.Young was then sworn in as Mayor by the clerk and bond
filed.
I Mayor Young then deolared a vacancy on the oouncil by the
resignatio~of F.B.Young and called for nominations
to fill the unexpired term of F.B.Young.

declared him to be a dUly ~ualified member of the Town Couneil of

Couneilm.rKallenoaek Offered the following resolution and
moved the adoption thereof.
Be it Resolved by the Town Council of daukee!j1Iowa
tu1i the Town Councilh hereby extend to Mrs G.3.Davis there
sy~thy in the death of her husband and Mayor of the Town
and that a eopy of this resoultion oe sent to ~rs Davis
and a record of the same be made a matter of record on the
mirmut-teliof the meeting of the -rown Council of this date.
The above resoultion was seconded by howe and on call of
the eoun"il the Mayor deulared the resoution "arried.
Clerk was instruood to see the State Oopptroller in the
regard to the transter of fundli.
