Loose made motion that·Jl..B.Carter aot as Mayor.
Seaonded by Kallenbaok.Motion oarried.

Acting Mayor Carter oalled the meeting to order 2nd the
followin cO~cilman answered the roll call.
Loose,Knoll •Davis and Kallenback.
Meeting was ealled for the porpuse of meeting with
Mr Luther of the jowa ~ower &Light Co.
Mr Luther made the follwoing pro~osal for a new
lighting rate for the Town of Wa14kee effective Jan Is'!;1939.

Anynew eleotrola put in IoWa.power &Light Co to furnish
all the labor 2nd any reneualS of light bulbs will be
furniShed by the Iowa Power &l.ight Co.
Kallenbaak moved that the above rated be aocepted When
prepared in cOJltract form a.nd signed by the proper offiaials.
The oontract to run for 10 years from Jan 1st 1939.
