Meeting was called tocrder by Mayor Young.The following aounoilman answered.the rt11 oall.

as read.1~he treas report was read and approved as read.
Thetreas yearly report was read and was not oomplelte so
so was not aooepted.

Council approved appointement of Mrs Mary YOung on the libraryboardtofilltheunexpiredtermofMrsSelmaMorrisresigned•
.Alos approved the reappointemertt at Mrs Mamie McMahan on tbe
same bOard for a term at three years.
Bequest of Mrs Ida Dymond was approved to oross the street to
drain tile for new home.
Letters were read from Mrs Carrie Earp and Mrs Wm.A.Timmons.
Mayor Young called speoial meeting of the Town Council for
monday night April lOth to meet with the Waukee Fire Dpt.
Loose moved that a water filter be ~ut in at the meter at the
sohoo1 house at cost not to exceed ijp26.00and Mr Kinght beinstruotedtodothis•Seoonded by Kallenback.Motion car~ied.
Carter moved meeting adjorn,Seconded by ~a&lenback.Motion carried.
Council then met as board ot Equili~ll.tionWith all memebers ·.·..1·present.B.B.Curler was present and read the tlOx books.
Davis moved that pOll tax be disoontinued.tio seoonde
Carter mo~ed that poll tax list be certified to County Auditor _
When called for.Seoonded by Loose.Fall at the board showed
the following vote.Carter yeas.Knoll.yea.Loose.yes.
DaviS.No.and Kll.llenbaokno.Motion was declared oarried.
Moved by Carter &seconded by Kallenback that the assessors books
be accepted •Motion carried.
