Regular meeting of the Town Counoil of WaUkee,Iowa.
Meeting was heli in the FIre Station.
Meeting was called to order by-Mayor Young.
The following oouncilman.answered the r~ll call.
Loose,Knoll,Carter,Kallenback,Absent Davis.

as rea.d.
The treas yearly report wa.s rea.d and approved as read.
The treas monthly report was read and approved as read.
The follwoing bills were read by the Clerk.

Moved by Loose and seoonded by Knoll that the above bills be
allowed and orders drawn on the treas for the same.
Motion oarried.
The follwoing bids were read for repair of the roof on the fire
Station.
Tenitive bid of Des Moines Steele 00.$115.00 for 5 year roof.
and $lZ7.50 for 10 year roo~.1DrakeroofingCo.Bid no.l $80.with 7 year guarrantee
and bid no.2 for 100.with eo'lO year maintanaoe guarrantee.
Bid of Central Roofing Co for $50.00 With no guarrantee.

Carter moved that bid No.2 of the Drake Roofing Co be acoepted
and put on as per specifications and olerk notify them to ha.ve the
work did at onoe.Seconded by Kallenbaok.Motion·carried.
ca.rter offered the follll1lingresolution and moved the adoption thereof.
Be it ReSOlved by the Town Council of the Town of Waukee,
that a vote of thanks be extended to Mrs G.E.Davis for the
shrubbery·and landscaping pf the water works park and e.oopy
of.this resolution be sent to her and a record of the same be
inade a matter of reoord of the minnuttes of the Town Counoil
oft this da.te.Resolution seoonded by Kallenabck.Motion carried.
Carter offered the follewing resolution and moved the adoption
thereof.Be it resolved 'by the Town Counoil of the town of Waukee,
that lots No.11-12-&13 in block 100f the First AdditiontotheTownofWaukee,be hereafter known as George Edg&l'Dav:l,S.
