The treas report was read and approved as read.

Moved by Kallenback that the above bills be allowed and
orders drawn on the treas for the same.Seconded by Loose.
Motion carried.
Letter read from Auditor of State as regards convention to
be held in Des MQines NoV 23.24.and 25th.
Council acknowledeged receipt of $3.00 from A.Copeland
for mowing weeds on lots in 1938.
Mr Luther of the Iowa Power &Light Co met With the Council.
and explained eause of the poor service renedered.
MOved by Loose that Clerk be instructed to buy 500 feet of
snow fenee and 40 posts and take bids from local firms and
let to'the lowest bidder.Seconded by Ke.llenback.
Motion carried.
