Moved by Loose and seconded by Kallenback that the Clerk buy a Code of the State of Iowa for the use of the Town.Motion carried. Kallenback offered "the follOWing resolution and moved theadoptionthereof. Be~ttresolved by the Town Council that the Town of Waukee .accpet With gratitUde "the gift of a deed from Dr T.S.Jones for Lots 15 &16,Block,11 of the First Additicn for a tennis oourt and play groung. On call of the Council the Mayor declared the resolution carried. Moved by Loose and seconded by Carter that the Town buy from Mrs G.E.Davis spray pump at the price of ~5.00.Motion carried.. Application for a permit to sell cigaretts of Sam Hurwitz wa.sread. Loese moved that permit be issued,seconded by Davis. Motion carried. Petition for a water works system for the Town signed by 61· voters of the Town of Waukee was read and filed at 8.30 pm with the Town Council.Same was accepted and action sta~tad on the same.
