Special meeting of the Town Oouncil of iiaUkee,Iowa..
Meeting heTd in the fire sta.tion.
Loose moved that A.B.Oarter act as Mayor.
Seconded Knoll.Motion carried.
Oarter called the meeting to order withthe following
Oouncilman present and answeringtherolTea.l~•..
.Loose,KJ:1011,Davis and Kallenabakh.
Mr Ray Bmmert and 1~Ralph W.Gearh~rt met with the council.
Meeting was oalled for the p~vporse of acting on p~tition
for water works.Mr Hearhart sbumited contraot for
putting in the water works.Upon examination of the petition
it was found 'that the petition was not properly drawn up
and Attorney Aa.y Emmert explained that it would not hold
for a bond issue so no action was taken untilla:new
corect petition can be secured and presented to the
Town Council..

F.E.Deford made applioation for a permit to build
a dwelling 14 x 18 on 10m 16 of block 10.',
Ooanoil took in consideration the kind of material being
used and found no reason why the permit should not be granted.
Kallenback moved that permit be granted.Seconded b~Loose.
Motion carried.
