Meeting called.to order by Wmyor Ygung.
The fpllowing Councilman answered the roll call.
Knoll,Carter and Davis.
The miunuttes of the previous meeting were read and approved
as read.I The tr~as report was read and approved as read.

DaviS moved that the above bills be allowed and orders drawn
on the treaS for the same,Seconded by Knoll,Motion carried.
Kallenbach and Dallam entered the meeting at this time.
Mayor Young left the meeting and appointed Carter to act as
Mayor.
Kallenbach moved the Town'accept one half of Cigarette permits
fees to Jan 1st from per~t holderS who so disired.Seconded
by Davis.Motion carried,Dallam voteing no on the ~uestion.
Mayor Young re~entered the meeting at this time.
Rufus Steffen and S.A.Berg met with the Council in regards
to some trouble in there end of Town.

The following budget estimate was aggreed upon and Clerk was
instructed to have the same printed in the Dallas County
News and set the date as of Aug 5th 1940 at.8.P.M.at the
fire Station.in Waukee for a hearing on the same.
