Reglular meeting of the ,Town Council of WaUkee,Iowa.
Meeting 4eld in the fire satation.
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Young.
~he following oounoilman answered the roll call.
Dallam,Da;vis and Carter.
The minnuttes,of the previous were read and approved as read.
The treaS report WaS read and approved as read.

Kallenbaoh moved that the above hills be allowed and orders
dr~wn on the treas for the SSIDe.2nd by Knoll.1wtion oarried.
Clerk was instructed to write M.&.St L.R.R.in regard to
repair of there orossing at Farmers elevator Co.
No fQthur business appearing it "was moved by Knoll and seoonded
by Davis that meeting adjorn,Motion carried.

Meeting held in the fire station._
Meeting was oalled to order by Mayor Young.

The ~bGtewing Counoilman answered the roll call.
The meeting Was oalled for the purporseof ~cting on appliotion
of Rosie Berti for a olass B.beer permit,at the request
of the oounty attorney.
Applioation of permit of Rosie Berti was read by the olerk.
Letter was read from Co attorney in regards to the surrender
of permit of Maro Bert~whioh was uoluntaraly surrenderd to
the Mayor at 12 o'olook noon on the 30th day of Sept 1940 •Davis moved that permit be issQed upon payment of lioenoe
fee and filing of bond and olerk instruoted to issue same
when requirments were fullfilled.
The above motion was seoonded by Knoll.
On call of the oounoil the mayor deoleared the motion oarried
and permit to be issued.
Davis moved meeting adjorn,senoonded by Carter.Motion carried.
