Special moeting of the Town Council of ~aukee,Iowa.
Meeting held in the fire station,

Meeting called to tDe order by 1~yor Young.
The following councilman answered the roll call.
Knoll,Carter and Davis,Absent Kallenbach and ~llam.
:Mrs Hosie Berti met with the Oounc LL and made personal
application for reneual of her Class B.~eer permit.
Davis Offered the following resolution and moved the
adoption there of.
Be it ordained by the Tawn Oouncil of Waukee that section
;:'5of the beer ordiaIllc7repealed and the folllllwingbe substituedthereof,
Dancing may be authorized by the Town Jouncil of \iaukee,in
places holding Class B.?ermits if floor space used for
dancing purporses complies with the State Law.
The holder of the license shall at his own expense prOVide
for the attends.n"e of a policeman appointed by the Mayor
and whose appointment is approved by the council.
Said policeman shall be on duty at all times when dancing
is in progress.Officer shall wear a policemans cap
and san browm belt and a badge of his oIIice.
The above resolution Was seconded by Councilaman
Knoll.On call of the council all voted yeas and the
b~yor declared the resolution adopted.
Knoll moved that rules be supended and the above section be a
part of the beer ordiance.sec oncec by Carter.1iotion Carried.
I Application of the reneaul of Rosie Berti beer permit was
taken up at tnis time.
Kno:i!llmoved permit be renewed on proper compliance ~vith
the law.Seconded by Datis.Motion caaried.
Rosie 3erti re~uested a permit to hold dancing in compliance
with the State Law and Town ordinance.
Knoll moved that dancing be permited according to the provison
speified in Town ordd ance in Clas B.Pe rma t of lloeie Berti.
Seconded by Carter.Motion carried.
Davis moved meeting adjorn ,seconded by Knoll,Motioncarried.
