Moved by Johnston soconded by Boone to approve the ~nutes as read.Carried. Moved by HOTIe seconded by Meyer to up?rove the treasurer's report.Carried. Iilovedby Meyer secodded by Boone to grant Jackson's Grocery a beer permit. Carried. Tom Thorpe of Thorpe Well,met with the Council regarding the new well and treatment plant. Jack Sparks,of Sparks and Company also met wit))the coullcil regardillg the bond hearing to be held January 17,1966. klany other problems '."Jerediscussed and "Gentative pLamri.ng for the welfare of the Town to be worked out in future meeting. Council adjourned to the new building to inspect the progress of the treatme~~ plant and building. January 17,1966 The Town Council of the Town of Waukee,Iowa,met in regular adjourned session at the Towu Hall in said town on the 17th day of the January,1966,at 8:00 P.,,1.,pursuant to prior action of the Council and to the law for the purpose of instituting proceedings and acting upon the matter of the issuance of ~145, 000.00 Waterr10rks Revenue Bonds of said town,and to transact such other bus- iness as may come before said Council. The meeting was called to order by the Mayor,and the roll being called there were:Present:Dr.Charles Howe,Mayor pro-tem in the chair,and ta follow- ing named councilmen--Vincent ;,leyer,Bernard Doone,James Johnston,and Henry Leonar-d,Abs811t--l',layor George Kramer.
