Regular meeting of the Waukee Town Council was held March 14,with i{lUyorKramer
presiding and all Councilmen present.
Moved by Meyer seconded by Boone to approve the minutes as read.Carried.

Moved by Leonard seconded by HOVie to g r-arrt permission to F.F.A.to use the ground
next to the Lagoon for a test plot.Carried 5 to O.
Mel Dessenko met with the Council regarding the charges of the water and sewer rate
on the Laundramat.
Moved by Johnston seconded by iJeyer to have attorney Paul Huscher draw up an amend-
ment to the Sewer Ordinance and change the rate for amount over 75000 gallon per
quarter to a flat rate of $22.50.Carried 5 to O.
Moved by Boone seconded by Johnston to have a tie-up for dogs during the months of
[Jay,June,July,and August.Carried 5 to O.
Moved by Meyer seconded by Boone t~pay the rollo~ing claims presened by Clerk:

A discussion was held regarding annexing a certain part of Boone and Walnut
Township and it was decided to take it up at a later meeting.
Meeting adjourned.

A Special Meeting of the Waukee Town Council was held !40rch 16th at the Town·
Hall with lIlayorKramer presiding and all Councilmen present.
This meeting was called in regard to the discussion of annexation of certain
sections of ground in Walnut and Boone Townships.
Representing Walnut Township was Philip Broderick,Harry Bennett,John Fox and
Clerk John Morris.Representing Boone Township were H.C.Williams and Wes Swallow.
No action on where the line would be came out of this discussion.Council to check
with Aakes Engineering.
Moved by Johnston seconded by Boone to increase the WaUkee Voluntary Firemen to
30 men.
Meeting adjourned.
