This meeting w,s called in order to interview Bob S~tenecker of Hamburg for
the job of Gas Mananger.
After the discussion ",as held on the possibilities of Bob becoming the mananger
of the Gas system;no action was taken at this time.
Street conditions were also discased by the Council.
Meeting adjourned.

Moved by Johnston seconded by Leonard to approve Treasurer's report as read.

The CO\illcilask Jim Jo~~ston if he had anything to report on the cement slab.
Jim stated that he had nothing to report.
Moved by Meyer seconded by Boone to grant Elmer Miller DBA Golden Spur a Li.ouor-
Perrr~t providing the sts.te permits it.Carried 4 to O.

Moved by Meyer seconded by Johnston to certify Ray Bainter as Sewer operator
and Remo Nizzi as Ws.ter operator.Carried 4 toO.
A long discussion on the problem of bicycles being ridden on the sidewalks by
children was held.It was decided to p:~an article in the Waukee paper asking
co-operation from all on this problem.
Moved by Boone seconded by Meyer to try and receive bids on a 60 h pump for the
Town to use as a spare.Carried 4 t,»O.
Jim Jo~ston was asked to check \,~th Ridgeway on the possibility of buying his
property for a park.
The Clerk talked ~bout the possibility of selling gas out of the corporation
limits.Phil Brodericft was interested.No action taken.

year 1965.Carried 4 to O.

The Town Council of the Town of Waukee,in the County of Dallas,State of Io'~,
met in special session at the T0~m Hall at 1:30 P.M.CDT,on the 21st day of
June,1966,pursuant to previous resolution and published notice.The meeting
was called to order by the Mayor,and the roll being called there were
Present,George Kramer,Mayor in the chair,and the following named Councilmen:
Dr.Chas ,Howe,Henry Lennard,Bernard Boone,J'imes Johnston,Vincent Meyer,
Absent:None.
The Town Council investigated and found that notice of the time and place
of this meeting for a hearing on proposed plans,specifications and form of contrar.t
for constructiingand establishing a natural gas distribution system in and for
the Town of waukee,Iowa,for receiving bids for the establishing and constru~tion
of a natural gas distribution system and for receiving bids for furnishi~g gas to
the City had been publis'oed on the 18th and 25th days of May,1966,in The Da.llas
County News,a newspaper of general circuhti'n in the Town and printed wholly in the
English Language,and that said notice had a Ls o been pUblished on the 18th and 25th
days of May,1966,in the Des Moines Register,a newspaper pvblished in the City of
Des Moi~es,Io~l"i3.,and of'g,-;:neral circ01:iti n~n the State of Eowa ,
