presiding and all Councilmen pr esent ,
This meeting was called by John McClure regarding the changes in the Gas System.
Moved by'Howe seconded by Meyer to authorize the Engineer the changes in pipe forthesysteminconnectingtothehouse.Carried 5 to O.
Bernard Boone's car will be for sale after October l~1966 and if the Council isinterestedinthecar;it could be purchased for $16uO.00.
The Council discussed hiring a new day man.

The \tlaukeeTown Council met August 29th at $:00 P .J.!.at the Town Hall for thehearingofthebudgetaspub.l.i.shedin the Dallas County News.
l'~yorKramer presided over the meeting and all Cou.~cilmen answered the roll call.
There were no objections to the bUdget;no residents attended the hearing.
Moved by Johnston seconded by Boone to file the following budget for the year1967withtheCountyAuditor.Carried 5 to O.

The Waukee Town Council held a Special meeting September 6th with Mayor Kramer
presiding and all Councilmen present.Meeting was held at the Tmm Hall at $P.M.
A representative from Bankers
Insurance for Town employees.
Life Insurance met with the Council
No action taken at this meeting.
to discuss Group
The Council interviewed two men who were interesting in obtaining a job workil'lgfor
the Town.Gerald Kernrr.itand Emmett Engleen.These men were to be notified if hired.
lIotion by Howe seconded by Johnston to accept the American Gas Code as written.
Carried 5 to O.
Doug Brickert met ~dth the Council regarding a package deal Insurance for the Town.
Moved by Leonard seconded by Meyer to increase the insurance coverage for tohe
Town to $500,000.,excess limit and to award the insurance to the Tk Insurance Co.Carried 5 to O.
