The W3.ukee 10-~'IlCouncil held a Specbl meeting January 13th with Mo..yo:'Kramer
presiding ~nd ~l~~o~lGil~en~r0s8nt.
This meeting was callsd to C3.nvas the special election held J3.nuary 12,1967.
Moved b!Johnston seconded oy Meyer that the following Resolution be adopted
RESOLUTION
"tie,the Town Council c.f the Town 0,0 Wa",kee held a canvas of the SpAcial
Election of January 12,:967.
There were 478 ballots cast;of which 116 votes were for the affirmative
and 361'votes were negative for the proposition and there was one spoiled
ballot;Poll Books were found to be in order.
Resolutipn was passed un3.nimously.
Moved by Meyer seconded by Deonard that the following budget be apTlroved for
the ye-,r 1967--

Kramer presiding und all Councilmen present except Johnston.
Moved by Meyer seconded 0;"Boone to accept the minutes as rNd.Carried 5 to O.
Moved by Howe seconded by Meyer to approve Treasurer's report as read.
Carried unanimoully.
Moved by Hovre seconded by Boone to allow the Volunt"ry Fire Dopt ,$120.00 to
send men to school at Ames.Carried unanimously.
