HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-04-03-Special Minutes39 . The Waukee Toun Council held a special meeting iVIarch15,1967,with Mayor Kramer, Presiding and all Councilman present. This meeting was called regarding Eng Henry Oakes,Report on the progress of 22 Ft cement slap throught the town by Dallas County. Jake,Keller,Chairman of The Waukee Planning Commission attend this meeting. I It was decided by the Council to Have Henry Oakes ta get in touch with Booth and Os on who was awarted the contract by Dallas County,and see when the work wasgoingtostart. Moved by Boone,seconded by Johnston to authorize Dr Howe,&Henry Leonard to go to Slater Iowa,and see about a Ford'Tracto with Loader and Backhoe,and a gas ditcher which was selling $2875.00 for the package deal,if they thought that it was worth the money to buy them.Carried 5-0. The clerk was instructed to get in touch with the town insurnace co and have them make a sidewalk study and report back to the Council. Meeting adourn The Waukee Town Council held a Special meeting AprKil 3,1967,with Mayor Kramer presiding and all Councilman present ecept Howe.III 'This meeting was a jo&nt meeting with the Planning Commission. .Present at this meeting from the Planning Commisson was Ke&ler,Neubauer,Brickart,lViullens,Os Len , This meeting was called regarding a Ordinance ~concering Subdivision Regulations and platting of new subdivisions of land within the limits of the TownofWaukee. A ~anner from the firm of Wallace Holland Kastler &Schmitz talk to joint meeting.Appromote cost of the study would be around $400.00. Moved by Johnston seconded by Boone to inter to a Agreement for a planning study with 'the Cornany of Wallace Holland Kastler &Schmitz,hereinafter referred to as "Planners.Carried 4-0.' Moved by Boone seconded by Meyer that the folloWing Resolution be adopted; "Be it resolved,by the Town Council of The Town of Waukee,that Remo Nizzi, be and is herby appointed to the Central Iowa Regional Planning Comm for a term expiring Warch 29,1972.Carried 5-0. Meeting with Henry Oakes to be set up by the clerk. Meeting adournI
