Moved Reese to approve the minutes as read.Carried 4-0. Moved by Meyer seconded Boone to approve treas report as read Carried. Mo ved by Reese seconded by Leonard to appoint Webster Jones to the Library Board Carried 4-0. Moved by Meyer seconded by Reese that the following Resolution be adopted: Resolution on Interuptible Gas Service to the Farmers Coop Grain Dryer. Whereas,this Council Xm of the Town of Waukee,Iowa,in Dallas County,deems it advisable that the Farmers Co op ,because of its high volume of gas usage be given a interruptible rate for gas,as here- after set out by contract. Therefore be it ordained by the Waukee Town Council as follow: The Town of Waukee,in the County of Dallas,Iowa,hereby agrees to sell Natural Gas to the Farmers Co Op in Waukee,Dallas County,Iowa at a rate of 4~100cf,it is definitely agreed and understood that the Gas taken hereunder shall be classified as interruptible.The Tow n of Wauke~ will curtail any or all gas furnish~d hereunder in the amount required by the Town of Waukee,during and for any period of time,upon giviving the Farmers Co Op two hours notice whever so required by the Town of Waukee. All Gas furnished by the Town of Waukee,to the Farmer s Co Op Grain Dryer as interruptible gas service shall be metered on a separate meter. All other gas used by the Farmers Co Op Co of Waukee,Iowa,in the County of Dallas,shall be billed as firm Commerical,Me tered on a separate meter or meters as follow: First 400 cuft or less per month Next 1600 cuft used per month Next BOOO cuft used per month Next 20,000 cuft used per month Balance cuft used per month In any month in which the user usese in excess the rate for the month will be .OB/IOO cf fxmo $LOO .20/100cf .10/100cf 09/100cf .0B/IOOcf of 250,000 cuft of for all gas used • gas, The resolution carried 4-0. the for Walter Hinkson metxxtit Corporation of the Town of howing and trailor court. with the Council regarding annexating into Waukee,Some of his ground would be used The Council disgussed the Sub Division regulations presented by the planning commission.No action taken at this meeting. The Council disgussed the horses in the town of Waukee,and anyone having horses that are not in accord to the town ordinances must be removed. Moved by Meyer seconded by Boone to pay the Claims as presented by the Clerk Carried 4-0. Striping of the parking was disgussed by the Council to be marked on the new paving in the business district. to report. and loading zone Street commttee Clerk to hire someone to help guard the new cement.,while it is still wet.
