Moved by Meyer,seconded by Rees to approve minutes as read.Carrie d 5-0. Moved Boone seconded by Meyer to accept Treas Report as read.Carried 5-0. The Council disgussed application for Laurel St~and one at Rideway Propery. Planning Commission. two Mobile Homes Located one at A pplications was sent to I Bank proper;y w as disgussed by the Council,~Coucil agrreed that cost of $10,000.00 was more than they would like to pay,if was agreededto have proper;y appraised. Radar was disgussed by the Council,clerk to check with other to>ms for poss ible use. Moved by Howe seconded Boone to approval claims as presented by Clerk. Moved by Rees and seconeded by Boone to pay the claims as presented by the Clerk.Carried 5-0. Moved by Boone seconded by Howe to authorize the Town Clerk to issue a warrant in the amount of $1,550.00 to the Iowa Development Comm.,in accordance with the provision of Article 1 as set forth in the contract for planning service between the Town of Waukee,Wallace Holland Kaslter and Schmitz and the Iowa Development Comm.,this sum submitted to the Ia Developme nt Comm.to be administried and disbursed by the same.Carried 5-0. Moved by Boone seconded by Meyer that the following Resolution be adopted. RESOLUTION The Waukee Town Council authorize the Town attorney Paul Husher,to come to a settlement with Mrs Fern Seders,owner of the 1956 Chev Station Wagon,lic# 25-5301 ,which is now embouded by the Town of waukee,for reasons that the 15th of August 1967,this vehicle driven by Jackie Craig Jenkens drove on green cement on Ashwoorth Rd near 5th St • .wnereas,this Council deems it advisable because of lack of storage space to make a settlement with Mrs Fern Sede rs. The refore be it ordained by this Council to authorize the Town Attorney to reach a favarable settlemnt.Carried 5-0.I Walter Hinkson met with the Council regarding his petition on annexation. No action taken at this·meeting. The council named December 16,1967 at 9;00 for a Special meeting to disguss drifferent subjects Meeting adjourned c(J4
