The ~aukee Town Council,held a Special mee"~ng ,February 28,1968,at
6:00 at the Town hall.,with Mayor Chas W.nowe presiding and all Councilman
present except Boone.
This meeting was called to meet with Joe Casey of the Ben co regarding
the extending a Gas .;,ainto the new Des ;,joinesGolf Course.John Matilew
was also at this meeting.
lclanythings were diso~ased at this meeting,and it finaly was decieded to
have Bill nagler make a study.Joe Casey would call Bill nagler and see if
he could come up and make a report.
The Council adjourned to the School to meet with the Waukee Planning Comm,
Scholl Board and men from FHA to talk about~ukee.4~
The Waukee,Town Council held a Special meeting March6,1968,with

This meetbg was calle~_re;garding the Lot Layout plan for George
Gray.
Moved by Eees seconded by Applegate to accept the reaouta.on of the
i'iaukeePlanning Comm,~regardd.ng Geo Gray Layout regaruing the 3rd Street,&.
face of the lots.Carried 3-0.

The Waukee Town CounCil,he1ds its resular Meeting March ll,1968,with
Mayor Howe Presiding and all CounciL"an present.
Moved by Applegate seconded by Davis to approve the minutes as read.Carried
5-0.
~oved by Rees seconded by Davis to approve Treas as Read.Carried 5-0.
At this meeting members of Des moines and Golf Course met with the Council
reganding exdending a Gas line to their Course.Tne Council told them that they
were going to run a Ei~study on this,and report back to them.
Moved by Rees seconded by Applegate to hire Bill Hegler &Co for a fee of
$560.00 to do a study on extending gas to the Golf Course,if contract is awarted
this fee would become part of the Contract.Carried 5-0.
Walt ainkson,met with the Council regarding his prposed triler Court,No
action taken by the Council at this time,his plans would be £ent to the Waukkee
planning Corom
Moved by Boone seconded by applegate to puchase a used Wayne Street Sweeper
at a Cost of $3300.00.Carried
i.lovedby Meyer seconded by Applegate to approve the Claims as presented by
Clerk •Carried 5-0.
Street Ordbance &.Service digging in the Streets were disgussed by the Council
