The Waukee,Town Council held a Special meeting April 13,1968,with Mayor Chas
W.Howe presiding and all Councilmen present.
This meeting was called regarding Walt Hinkson triler Court,and extending
sewer and Water main to his property.The Council all agreed that water mains
xmtx and sewer mains must be put in by Walt Hinkson.

Ronnie Burns and Almer Branter met with the Council regarQ~ng the possible of
them deveopling the Dr Coff~an farm into a reaction center,they were inquiring
the chance of them buying water from the Town of Waukee.The Council agreed to.
sell them water,if they are willing to lay the main and extend the same to the~r
farm.
Meeting Adjorned
The Waukee Town Council held a Special meeting April 19,1968,with
Mayor Howe presiding and all Councilmen present except Applegate.
Eng.Henry Oakes attented this meeting,Dr Joe Joh~on,Geo Gray,and
Greg ?eiffer and Ray Burger also were present at this meeting.
I Moved by Meyer seconded by Davis to follow the Waukee ?lanning Commission
proposal for a 4 plex on Maple St,to be build by Dr Joe Johnson,and also
including the proposed parking by the Planning Commission off Maple St.Carried 4-0.
Greg ?eiffer met with the Council regarding planting a hedge in fromt of his
house,the town parking is 17t ft back from the babk of the curb.No action
taken.
The Council stated that "Grees saauld be plannted 1l~ft back from the curb.
and sidewalks 1ft from the property line.
Moved by Rees seconded by Boone to permit F~y Burger to dump excess dirt
in fume parking in front of his house and Harold,providing he doesnt stop the
water flow.Carried 4-0.
Moved by Boone seconded by Davis for final approval of Geo Gray Plat #3
concerning the 28 lots,providing the approval of the Town Attorney.Carried
4-0.
The Council had a long disgussion regarQ~ng Sidewalks 00 these 28 Lots,they
were ootsure if the planning Corr~ission had been advised by Geo Gray that taeir
were not to be sidewalks •

Moved by Boone seconded by Davis to waive sidewalks on these 28 lots
providing the Pil.anningCommission had also waived sidewalks on these ti lots.
Carried 4-0.
l.oved by Rees seconded by Boone to waive Article9,Page 3-2 pretaining
to Sanitary Sewer Canst.,using either cast or clay pipe on these 28 lots.
Carried 4-0.
Moved by Rees seconded by Boone to have Eng Oakes amend the the soecifications
for New Sub Division Article 9,Page 3-2 of Sanitary Sewer Const.,and send the
change to the WaUkee ?lanning Comm.Carried 4-0.
Moved by Iheyer and seconded by Boone to have "Ghe clerk cootact Jack Sparks
and Co and see if he wants to finance the curb &gutter procect ~Carried 4-0.
