Moved by Rees seconded by Boone that the Waukee Planning C~~isssion consider the the
following changes to Subdivision Ordinance Specifications for S~bdivision Improvements in
Waukee,Io~a ,Dallas County.
Now reads~Section 802 Sidewalks Construction
Section 802.1 The SUbdivider shall install or cause to be installed sidewalks on
each side of surfaced streets(for the full lengths of blocks sidewalk shall be a minimum of
4 feet wide and located in the street right-of-way with the outer edge one foot from the
right-of-way with the outer edge one foot from the right-Of-way line.
Amend to read:
Section 802.1 The land SUbdivision Regul.at i ons of the Town of Waukee,Iowa
is ameneded by deleting subsection 802.1 therof and by inserting tn liew therof the
following:
802.1 The SUbdivider shall install or c~use to be installed sidewlaks on
each side of surfaced streets(for the full lengths of blocks,)sidewalks shall be
a minumum of 4 feet wide and located in the street right-of-way with the outer edge 6
feet from the nearest ·curb where no utility lines,except service lines to the adjacent
property exist between the right-of-way lines and the streets.In all other cases the
sidewalks shall be located in the street right-way with the outer ed~e elven feet from
the nearest curb.
Special Meeting August 20th 1968
Be it remembered that on this 20th d',.yof August 1968,the Council of \'iaukee,Iowa
met in Special session for the purpoese of a hearing upon the budget estimate as filed
with this council.There was present a quorum as r-equi.r-sd by law.Thereuponthe
Council investigated and found that the notice of the time,place of hearing had,according
to law and as directed by the council,been published on the 7th day of Augustl968,in the
Dallas County News,a newsparer published at Adel in Dallas County,Iowa.And that the
affidavits of pub Lf.cabi on were on file with the Town clerk.Thereafter and on said day the
e stdmat,e was taken up and sonsidered and t"xpayers heard for and against said estimate
as follow.

Moved by Meyer seconded by Applegate to instruct the clerk to certify the budget to t he
County Auditor.Carried 4-0.
