RESOLUTION
Whereas,Walter L.Hinkson,has connected a private water I ine with the Town Water Main at
a point described as follows:
Beginning at a point 5 feet North and 45 feet East of the Northwest
Corner of the SW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 34,Township 79
North,Range 26 West of the 5th P oM.,Dallas County,Iowa,
Thence West 73 feet,thence South,along a line parallel with and
28 Feet West of the West line of said Section 34,1463 Feet to
a point approximately 10 Feet South of the North right-of-way line
of Northview Drive,Waukee,Dallas County,Iowa,to a T Joint,
thence West 73 Feet to a Fire Hydrant on the water line of the Town
of Waukee,Iowa,being the point of connection.

And,Whereas,the said Walter L.Hinkson will dedicate the following portion of said
line to the Town of Waukee,upon payment of costs thereof in the amount of $273.41 by the
Town of Waukee:
Beginning at the point of connection as above described,Thence East
73 Feet,to a T to be included in said dedication.
And,Whereas,it is the des ire and intent of the Town Counc i I of the T own of Waukee
that Walter L.Hinkson maintain said water line except for that portion dedicated to the Town
of Waukee,subject to certain controls of the Town of Waukee.
BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Town of Waukee accept the dedication of that segment I
of the aforesaid waterl ine as above descri bed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT Walter L.Hinkson may make arrangements for a
charge to be collected by him from any person,firm,or corporation desiring to hook onto any
segment of the aforesaid private water line not dedicated to the Town subject to the authority
of the Town of Waukee to specify the type and qual ity of material used in said tap or taps and
all I ines feeding from said tap or taps,and to control and meter the use and rates for the water
furnished by the T own of Waukee through sa id I ines and taps.

The Waukee Town Council held a Special meeting January 24,1969 with Mayor Howe
presiding and all Councilmen present.
This meeting was called concerning the resignation or Robert Sebeniecher who re-
signed on January 20th;effective teat date.Also the resignation of Raymond
Bainter,giving a two week notice.
The council voted to accept the resignations;and instructed the Clerk to take
applications for these positions.
Meeting adjourned.

Regular meeting of the Waukee town council was held February 12,1969 with l~yor
Howe presiding and councilmen Applegate,Boone,Gaed~ner,Meyer and Rees present.
Moved by Applegate seconded by Boone to approve the minutes as read.Carried.
Moved by Meyer seconded by Applegate to approve Treasurer's report as read.

Two men from Civil Engineering Consultants met with the Council regarding any work
that the town might do in the future.
Th~council instructed the Clerk to get in touch with Hegler Engineering concern-
ing a sewer stUdy.
The ClerA presented to the council applications he had received for the pusition
of·gas service man and also night patrml;other than those already seen by the
coUncil.Anotner interview day was set for February 22,1969.

A special meeting of the Waukee Council was held Eebruary 22,1969 with Mayor
Howe presiding and all councilmen present.
Moved by Rees seconded by Gardiner to hire Kay Ford as gas service man at a
salary of $525.00 per month.Carried 5 to O.,
Moved by Applegate seconded by Rees to adjourn until 8 P.M.this evening.
Moved by Meyer seconded by Rees to hire Noel Raper as night patrol man at a
salary of $400.00 per month.Carried.
