The Waukee Town Council held a Special meeting January 24,1969 with Mayor Howe
presiding and all Councilmen present.
This meeting was called concerning the resignation or Robert Sebeniecher who re-
signed on January 20th;effective teat date.Also the resignation of Raymond
Bainter,giving a two week notice.
The council voted to accept the resignations;and instructed the Clerk to take
applications for these positions.
Meeting adjourned.

Regular meeting of the Waukee town council was held February 12,1969 with l~yor
Howe presiding and councilmen Applegate,Boone,Gaed~ner,Meyer and Rees present.
Moved by Applegate seconded by Boone to approve the minutes as read.Carried.
Moved by Meyer seconded by Applegate to approve Treasurer's report as read.

Two men from Civil Engineering Consultants met with the Council regarding any work
that the town might do in the future.
Th~council instructed the Clerk to get in touch with Hegler Engineering concern-
ing a sewer stUdy.
The ClerA presented to the council applications he had received for the pusition
of·gas service man and also night patrml;other than those already seen by the
coUncil.Anotner interview day was set for February 22,1969.

A special meeting of the Waukee Council was held Eebruary 22,1969 with Mayor
Howe presiding and all councilmen present.
Moved by Rees seconded by Gardiner to hire Kay Ford as gas service man at a
salary of $525.00 per month.Carried 5 to O.,
Moved by Applegate seconded by Rees to adjourn until 8 P.M.this evening.
Moved by Meyer seconded by Rees to hire Noel Raper as night patrol man at a
salary of $400.00 per month.Carried.
