Tbe Clerk had written to the Dunkley Co.of Michigan regarding our lagoon.Fol-
lowing is a summary of the report received.
"The Waukee lagoons caLlbe adequately up graded by the installation of surface
mechanical aeration.Minimum requirements will provide 10 H.P.for the des-
ignated primary lagoon.Two 5 H.P.units are recommended.
Four 5 H.P.units will provide initial clean up of both laggons and maintain
circulation in the primary lagoon.
The secondary lagoon is to be maintained in a quiescen"listate and used as a
settling and polisbing pond.
The plan as outlined is based on the best possible estimates.Operation during
the second quarter of 1969 can provide concrete data to allow adjustment of the
prescribed requirements."
