being an ordinance regulating the use of streets,alleys and highways by vehicles
of all kinds and prescribing penalties for violation,is hereby amended to Section

(c)The streets and intersections described in "schedule BIIattached
hereto,are school stop intersectlons as indicated in the Schedule,and stop signs

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC ORDINANCE REGULATING THE
USE OF THE STREETS,ALLEYS,AND HIGHWAYS BY VEHICLES OF
ALL KINDS,AND PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS
THEREOF BY DESIGNATING CERTAIN INTERSECTIONS AS
SCHOOL STOP INTERSECTIONS IN WAUKEE,IOWA
Be it enacted by the Council of the Town of Waukee,Iowa,that Ordinance No.,
being an ordinance regulating the use of streets,alleys and highways by vehicles of all
kinds and prescribing penalties for violation,is hereby amended by adding to Section19thereofthefollowing:
(c)The streets and intersections described in "Schedule B"attached hereto,are
school stops intersections as indicated in the Schedule,and stop signs shall be placed
at the entrance to said intersections as indicated.At the time that the said stop signs are
at said intersections,the driver of a vehicle shall stop in obedience thereto as providedinsubsectionAhereof.
SCHEDULE B
SCHOOL STOP INTERSECTIONS
In accordance with Section 19,the stop signs shall be placed at the following
street intersections between the hours of 8:00 o'clock a.m,and 4:00 o!clock p,m.,
Monday through Friday inclusive of each week during which school is in session in the TownofWaukee,Iowa:
(1)At the intersection of 4th Street and Ashworth Drive,controlling
traffic on Ashworth Drive.
(2)At the intersection of 5th Street and Locust Street,controll ing
traffic on Locust Street,
(3)At the intersection of 6th Street and Locust Street,control I ing
traffic on 6th Street.
