A special meeting of the Waukee Town Council was held January 23 rd at 1P.M.
with Mayor Boone in the chair and the following councilmen present :Morris,
Gardiner and Rees.Absent -Kramer,and Blessing.
This meeting was held to sell bonds for the new fire truck.Jack Sparks,of
Sparks and Company was the only bidder.
Bonds were sold to Jack Sparks at the rate of 5~%.

Regular meeting of the Waukee Town Council was held February 1 at the Town
hall with Mayor Boone presiding and the following councilmen present -Rees,
Blessing and Morris.Absent -Gardiner and Kramer.
Moved by Morris to issue Class C beer permit to Jerry Stone DBA Casey's Gen-
eral Store.The motion did not carry.because of the lack of a second.

the cuuncil and suggested that the following changes be made in zoning require-

All utili ties easements be di anged from 5 foot to 10 foot.
That lot width in R-2 be changed from 50 to 60 feet.
Accessory building in rear yards shall have a minimum 2 foot side yard
for R-1 and R-2 zoning.
Recommend that the board of adjustments should meet and organize with
the Chairman to be a member of the Board of Adjustments.

Rev.Robert Jones met with the Council regarding the M &St L Depot.
Denny Spencer met 1Iri.th the Council regarding t..rlerezoning of his lots.
It was agreed to rezone all along East side of 4th Street to R-2.
Casey's General Store class "c "beer permit was discussed.No action
taken.
Moved by Rees,second by Morris to have clerk put an ad in the paper
for an extra policeman.Carried 3 to O.

The meeting was called in regard to CaRey's General Store class "C"
beer permit.
Movedby Morris,second by Rees to issue a class "C"beer permit to
Casey's General Store.Carried 3 to O.

must comply to Sub Division regulations and under the supervision of the town
