A special meeting was held on July 21 st with Mayor Pro Tem Kramer pre-
siding.The following Councilmen were present:Morris,Blessing,Pees,and
Gardiner.Mayor Boone was absent.
This meeting was called regarding the sewer project.
Oakes Engineering presented the plans to the Council.
Moved by Morris,second by Blessing,to accept and file the plan on sewer.
Carried 4 to O.
Moved by Bees,second by Morris,to employ Oakes Engineering Company to
accomp'ld.sh'aaLl.engineering necessary to the construction of the 1971 "raukee,Iowa
Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project-Fourth St.Out-Fall Line &Aeration Fac-
ilities.Motion carried 4 to O.
Moved by Bees,second by Morris,to grant authbntty to mayor and clerk
to sign officmal papers regarding above mentioned sewer project.Carrmed 4 to o.

A regular council meeting was held on Augast 9,1971,with Mayor Boone
presiding and all councilmen present except Gardiner.

leo Gross met .Iith the council regarding a change in Jo Lane Mobile Home
roadway.Council referred change to Planning and Zoning ConmD.ssion.
Moved by Morris,second by Blessing,to have Peterson Construction furnish
8 year maintenance bid on streets on Gra..yPlat #5.Carried 4 to O.
Moved by Bees,second by Kramer,to purchase a General Electric police radio
at a cost of $1,000.00.Motorola bid was 1030.00.Carried 4 to O.
Hoved by Kramer,second by Bees,that the follol'1ingbudget be published in
the Dallas County-:News and that a hearing be held August 23,1971.
